PEIA Public Hearings
for the Fiscal Year 2005 Financial Plan
October 24, 2003
(dates & locations) to take comments on next year's plan. The Board will present the financial plan for Fiscal Year 2005 and take comments and questions on the plan from any interested parties. The PEIA Finance Board will hold public hearings in early November
We don't anticipate presenting any benefit changes for Plan Year 2005. There are also no proposed premium changes for retirees or employees of State agencies, colleges, universities, or county boards of education. Because they are in a separate risk pool, non-State agencies are expected to see a 12% premium increase.
PEIA staff members will be available in each location before the hearings to discuss the plan informally with anyone who is interested, and to take questions about the plan's contents. Staff will also be available after the hearing for questions.
Along with the hearings this year, PEIA again will offer face-to-face customer service sessions. These sessions will give members a chance to ask questions of customer service specialists. The face-to-face customer service sessions will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in each location.
Everyone who attends a hearing will be asked to register, so that PEIA will have a complete record of attendance. Those interested in speaking will indicate that at registration. The registration begins at 5:30. p.m. and the hearing starts at 6:00 p.m.
PEIA will also accept written comments from those unable to attend a hearing. You may send your written comments or e-mail them to us at peia@peia.state.wv.us.

November 3 WVU-P BIDS Bldg., 300 Campus Drive, Parkersburg
