BULLETIN BOARD RESOURCES

WVDOT organizations are required to display certain documents on their bulletin boards. This site was designed to offer guidance on what must be posted, to provide visual examples of the posters and documents, and (in most cases) to provide a means for the appropriate employee to download and print the material for posting.

Each organization's bulletin board must be in a convenient, conspicuous location, accessible to all organization employees. Organization management will appoint at least one employee to ensure that all of the required documents are posted on the board. This individual must access this site at least monthly to keep abreast of any updates or changes.

The posters or documents listed below are divided into three categories: Required by Federal Law, Required by State Law, and Required by WVDOT Policy. Additionally, there may be documents that must be posted by one DOT agency, but not by the others. Any such variation will be clearly noted.

To access a visual reference for any title listed below, simply click on it with your mouse. In most cases, you will be taken (by hyperlink) to a printable PDF file. If the document is formatted in such a manner that it cannot be printed legibly on a standard laser or ink-jet style printer, you will be given instructions on how to obtain the document. If a color printer is available, print color documents in color. If not, black and white may be used, so long as the message on the document is legible.
