Another bridge similar to the Fayette Station design is the Shiloh Bridge near Sistersville.  This bridge was the inspiration for a series of award-winning children’s books and videos in which a little dog was found under the Shiloh Bridge.

     The bridge was built in 1898 and is a simple span wrought iron pin connect Pratt through truss. It has timber laminated deck with no curbs or sidewalks.  With a 15’9” clearance, the bridge is rated 3 tons limit and carries County 14/4 over Middle Island Creek
