CADD
Standards, Cell Files,
Resource Files, and Pen Tables
WVDOT uses MicroStation
drafting software for its computer aided drafting and design work. The
standard environment that comes with the software has been customized to
provide easier access to Departmental and Regional tools such as:
- 2000 WVDOT CADD Standards
- The current WVDOT CADD Standards have been
incoporated into
a MicroStation macro that will place drawing data onto the proper level, with the established
line weight, color, style, text sizes, and so on using the WVDOT
Resource Files.
- The macro also has the ability to save
using the file naming conventions, create drawings using WVDOT Seed Files, and make use of
the WVDOT Cell Files, and Color Table. Additionally, data files that contain detailed
information regarding the standards, file naming conventions, and the West Virginia State Plane
Coordinate System are included as well.
- Note: the current WVDOT CADD
Standards have changed substantially (Working Units, Line Weights,
etc.) since the previous update (December, 1998). Please refer
to the enclosed data files for further information.
