WVDOT HEEP Conference
WVDOT will be hosting
the 2002 Area 2 HEEP (Highway Engineer Exchange Program) Conference in
Charleston, WV.

When and Where will the
Conference be held?
- It will start on May 19, 2002 (Sunday)
and end on May 22, 2002 (Wednesday).
- It will be held at the Charleston
Embassy Suites Hotel.
What will the Conference cover?
- In brief, the conference will cover
technology issues related to highway design and administration.
- There will be a series of presentations
that will cover these topics during the two days of the conference.
- There will also be a Vendor Area where
one can examine the products up close and talk first hand to the
company representatives.

- The Final Agenda
is now available. Please review it in order to determine what
presentations are of interest to you.
What topics will be presented?
- MicroStation Developments (V8)
- Road Design Software
- Survey Reduction and Analysis Software
- Plotting and Printing Tools
- Document Management Systems
- And so on
Who will be giving these
presentations?
- Half of them will be done by private
sector employees.
- The other half will be given by public
sector employees.
When and Where will the
Conference be held?
- It will start on May 19, 2002 (Sunday)
and end on May 22, 2002 (Wednesday).
- It will be held at the Charleston
Embassy Suites Hotel.
What does it cost and how does
one Register for the Conference?
- The Delegate Fee (WVDOT Employees should register as Delegates) is $
150.00 and it includes full access to the Vendor Area, admission to
all of the presentations, two lunches, and one dinner.
- The Embassy Suites Hotel charges $ 104.00/night and it includes
Breakfast. Notes: the Special Room Rate is only guaranteed until May
4, 2002 (it is normally about $ 150.00/night, so reserve your
room soon!) and contact the hotel directly to insure the low rate
((304)347-8700) and tell them you will be attending the Conference.
