How E-ZPass Work

When you join the PAC program, you will receive an E-ZPassSM electronic transponder that easily installs on your vehicle's windshield. There is a $10.00 deposit on the transponder and only private passenger vehicles, as defined in the terms and conditions, are eligible for the PAC program. Whenever you pass through any of the Turnpike's plazas on your PAC plan, the PAC account information encoded in your tag is electronically read by a toll plaza antenna. There's no stopping and no delays. It's that easy.

Becoming an E-ZPassSM customer is simple, with four PACC plans to choose from!

You can begin enjoying the many benefits of E-ZPassSM by becoming a PAC customer. There are four, flexible PAC plans to choose from, allowing you to use E-ZPassSM at one, two or all three of the Turnpike's mainline toll plazas. Whichever plan you choose, you'll be able to use the North Beckley ramp at no charge. Or, you can select to use E-ZPassSM on the North Beckley ramp only.

One Plaza: Unlimited use of the Turnpike using one toll plaza is $25.00 per quarter, $100.00 per year.

Two Plazas: Unlimited use of two toll plazas is $50.00 per quarter, $200.00 per year.

Three Plazas:Unlimited use of all three is $75.00 per quarter, $300.00 per year.

North Beckley Plaza Only: You may select only the North Beckley ramp program for $5.00 per year.

You can purchase a PAC plan either quarterly or annually. If you pay for an annual plan in one payment, you will receive a 5% discount.
