- A PILOT CAR is required for vehicles
or loads 12 feet or great in width, greater than 75 feet in length,
with load overhang greater than ten feet or as determined by inspection
of the load (A revolving light may be substituted for lengths of 75
feet, one inch to 85 feet and load overhangs greater than ten feet).
- AN OVER-LIMIT PERMIT is required on vehicles, including the
load thereon, exceeding the maximum dimensions of 13 feet, nine inches
in height, eight feet, six inches in width and 72 feet in length. A
permit is required for each trip.
- WEST VIRGINIA STATE LAW requires all front seat passengers
to wear a seat belt. Passengers in the back seat under 18 years of age
must also wear seat belts.
