The Durbin Railroad is a 5-mile recreational line
located in Durbin, WV. This line is owned by the State Rail
Authority and operated by an outside contractor known as the Durbin
and Greenbrier Valley Railroad. This scenic tour runs along the
Greenbrier River. The trip is a leisurely 1.5-hour, 10-mile round
trip excursion. This steam-powered train passes several scenic
vistas and wildlife viewing areas as it travels alongside the fast
flowing river.
