Highway Operations

The Deputy State Highway Engineer, Operations reports directly to the State Highway Engineer and is responsible for four DOH Divisions:

Maintenance Division

Establishment of maintenance policies and standards for highway facilities

Hauling Permits
Apply for Overweight/Oversize hauling permits over the internet. Requirements and procedures for obtaining state billing account, permit logon account and password.

Equipment Division
Major equipment maintenance, repair, rebuild, service support, parts support, technical advice and staff assistance to WVDOT equipment shops

Regional Maintenance Engineers

Oversight of the WVDOT’s 10 district offices
