WVDOT Supports Education

WVDOT participates in several programs to encourage WV teenagers and young adults to learn math and science and to pursue careers in civil Engineering, an important and growing field. The TRAC program is designed for junior high and high school children, while the Civil Engineering Cooperative Education Program places college students in civil engineering positions while still in school studying to become engineers. WVDOT also offers summer internships for young people interested in challenging and rewarding opportunities.
