657.2.5 - "REFLECTIVE U-CHANNEL STRIPS" PRODUCER 

NOTES: 
1) This APL is intended to include reflective strips that are acceptable for use on the flange and web sides of 
u-channel supports. Some models listed are made by the manufacturer for use on only one side or the other 
(see accompanying notes). Flat panels are also included on the APL, and are acceptable for use on both the web 
and flange sides of the post. 

2)This model is made for use on the flange side of the support only. 

3)This model is made for use on the web side of the support only.

4)This is a flat panel model, and may be used on either the web or flange side of the support. 

5)All red and white strips shall be manufactured using a Type ASTM-III sheeting shown on the Division's APL. 
The type of high intensity sheeting used (beaded or prismatic) shall be the same as the sign that the strip is intended 
to supplement). All fluorescent yellow and fluorescent yellow green strips shall be manufactured using a Type
ASTM-IX sheeting shown on the Division's APL.
