The Construction Division is offering a Fax on
Demand, which makes certain selected documents available on a 24-hour basis. In addition
to the five document types previously offered, bid tabulations per contract are now
available after the contract award date.
Callers may access the fax on demand system by
picking up the handset on their fax machine and dialing 304-558-1648. Callers must
respond to the voice prompt using the buttons on their fax machine and they will be guided
step by step through the process.
For example, if you want information on the July
9, 1996 letting, the document number is an eight-digit number derived as follows:
- Notice to Contractors- the
first digit is 1, then the month (2 digits) and date (2 digits) of the letting, then three
zeros. (i.e. 10709000)
- Planholders Lists- the first
digit is 2, then the month (2 digits) and date (2 digits) of the letting, then the call
number for the project on the Notice to Contractors. (i.e. 20709001)
- Bid Items & Quantities- the
first digit is 3, then the month (2 digits) and date (2 digits) of the letting, then the
call number for the project on the Notice to Contractors. (i.e. 30709001)
- Bid Results- the first digit is
4, then the month (2 digits) and date (2 digits) of the letting, then three zeros. (i.e.
40709000)
- Fuel/Asphalt Prices- the first
digit is 5, then the month (2 digits) and year (2 digits) and three zeros. (i.e. 50796000)
- Bid Tabulations- the first
digit is 6, then the month (2 digits) and date (2 digits) of the letting, then the call
number for the project on the Notice to Contractors. (i.e. 60709001)
